  • Molecular Imaging Travel Awards

  • In 2006, the RSNA created a separate content category for Molecular Imaging and appointed an abstract review committee to offer scientific sessions, posters and education exhibits in the area of molecular imaging at the RSNA Annual Meeting and Scientific Assembly. Recognizing that funds to support the travel of young investigators for the purpose of reporting their research results are very limited, the RSNA has established the RSNA Travel Awards for Young Investigators in Molecular Imaging: up to 15 awards of $1,000 will be available for eligible candidates invited to present high-quality science.

    • Eligible abstract presenters or poster exhibitors must have been awarded their doctoral degree no more than seven years prior to the time of submission.
    • Candidates must have an abstract in the area of Molecular Imaging accepted for the RSNA 2015 meeting.
    • To claim the travel award the recipient must personally attend the RSNA 2015 to present his or her work.
    • Travel awards cannot be awarded in two consecutive years.

Please see the MITA Flyer for more details.

Abstracts must be submitted for review by the April 9th deadline.

After January 30, 2015 go to abstract.rsna.org for detailed instructions.

Abstracts for presentations or posters will be reviewed by the appointed review committee. Notifications of acceptance and travel awards will be made simultaneously.
