  • Teaching File System (TFS)

  • The MIRC TFS is free software developed under the RSNA MIRC project that gives users the ability to author, manage, store and share radiology teaching files locally or across institutions. The project is overseen by the MIRC subcommittee of the RSNA Radiology Informatics Committee (RIC). TFS gives radiologists the power to:

    • Establish a departmental teaching file that supports resident training and lifelong learning
    • Create teaching file cases in formats ideally suited for peer education and personal review
    • Transfer images from PACS conveniently and with full protection of patient information
    • Create virtual conferences from case collections for tumor board or quality assurance
    • Export files as PowerPoint-compatible presentation slides or send them to your myRSNA account

TFS is used by radiologists and radiology programs all around the world. The software can be installed on a laptop or support hundreds of users at an institution. Click here to download the latest version of TFS.
